I’m Karen and I absolutely adore creating pretty and fun paintings! I would love to share my designs and step-by-step paintings with you.
I have taught and worked with adults and children for over 25 years and I teach my painting designs with the step-by-step method, which is the fastest and easiest way to help you skip the frustration and move right into developing your skills as a painter.
I value your time and use my (former) librarian skills to make sure you have a stream-lined experience in the Artsy Moon Paint Club.

Are these paintings suitable for a beginner?
Yes! I take you step-by-step through the whole painting. You can watch the video and pause and replay the video as necessary. If you’re still confused about a step, you can ask in the private community and get the help you need. You can use the tracer I provide (if needed) or draw it yourself. It’s all about relaxing and having fun.
What if I don’t have time to paint?
Since this is an online club, you can paint on your time and your schedule. You don't have to drive anywhere or attend classes at a specific time.
Each painting takes 1-3 hours depending on if you are a slower or faster painter. I've had many members make time for themselves and include painting as an important part of their lives for stress relief and for fun.
Is this going to be pricey?
When you invest in this club, you will go from not painting much at all to making painting a regular part of your life. Instead of spending tons of money at in-person classes, you'll get a similar result by painting the designs in this club and all for just $35 a month or $1.17 a day!
We'll keep it affordable by using craft paint, but you can use a higher grade paint, too.
What kind of paint and supplies should I buy?
Each tutorial comes with a supply list of the paint brand and colors, brushes, etc. However, you can use any supplies you already have. If you like to mix your own colors, you can do that, too.
Do I have to have previous art training?
Not at all! I started painting as an adult. I decided to become a certified art teacher, and now I love to teach others who want to start to paint or get better at it. I love it when people surprise themselves with their success! If you can spend at least a few hours each month, you will see your skills quickly develop, and you can accelerate the process by doing more tutorials each month.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. Just make sure to notify me or cancel it yourself before your renewal date. There are no refunds for the month for which you have already paid.
